Roadroid and JunoViewer
Specialising in low volume and unsealed roads I am the New Zealand agent for the Roadroid cell phone app used successfully to monitor road condition on many unsealed road maintenance contracts. Roadroid has now been linked to the JunoViewer software and an unsealed road model is being developed to assist your authority with programme development.
TDRi
Another recent collaboration has been with TDRi Solutions who are implementing a system to determine moisture content in pavements at full network speed producing very useful information to assist with JunoViewer modelling of pavement renewal strategies.Neil has also co-authored a New Zealand Transport Agency research paper with Theuns Henning and Alistair McCaw titled: Assessment Process for the Condition of Unsealed Roads. A copy of the research paper is available by clicking here. Neil could assist your Council to implement any of the systems and processes described in this research paper.
